Considered by many to be the best and most tube-like sounding of the Marantz 22XX series receivers. The Marantz 2230 has cult-like status among audiophiles. Recapped and LED lights have been done. These sell online for up to and over $1000 USD, and this one is a bargain at $450, a couple very minor marks on the face plate that you cannot see from 3 feet.
