Welcome to Ambleside Farm! We have a variety of safe, well schooled, happy school horses, and wonderful certified coaches. With an indoor ring, round pen, and large lit outdoor ring, we have room for dressage, hunter/jumper, natural horsemanship lessons, as well as those riding just for the pleasure of being with horses!
There are also several privately owned horses available for part lease.
Ophelia, 15.1hh pinto dynamo, multiple championships in jumpers from 2'6" to 3'3", super honest, but hot and strong, so needs an intermediate rider. Available 2 days/week
Midas, 16.2hh warmblood, shown Second Level dressage and 2'9" hunters and jumpers, all around great guy! Wanting intermediate rider or above. Available 1, 2, or 3 days/week.
Jet, 16.2hh quarter horse gentleman, impeccable manners, wonderful horse to learn on, great for beginners on up. Available 2, 3 or 4 days/week.
Dante, 16.2hh warmblood, very quiet and steady, great on trails, flatwork, and jumping. Great for beginners on up. Available 1, 2, or 3 days/week.
Zipper, 15.1hh morgan, shown Second Level dressage and 3' jumpers, was Champion 3' Jumper at Milner Downs this summer. Also great to take to B shows, very safe and fun. Great for beginners on up. Available 2 days/week starting Oct. 1
Gunner, 15.2hh paint gelding, beautiful (but bouncy!) mover, cute hunter, very honest to his jumps, great at local shows. Great for beginners on up. Available 1 or more days/week.
Major, 16.1hh schoolmaster, suits flatwork and low jumping, great for beginners. Available Wednesdays.
Finegan, 16.1hh thoroughbred, shown to 3'6" jumpers and 3'3" hunters, can be a little playful and quick under saddle so needs a rider with a little experience. Available 3 days/week.
